Local resident and Usbourne book stockist, Kate Stilwell has organised a great book hunt for the folk of BS4.
Kate says ‘The summer holidays are upon us and I am organising a ‘Look for a Book’ event for the local children. Usborne reading books will be hidden around the Brislington/BS4 area for children to find and take home for free!’
Kate is also be encouraging the lucky finders to post pictures with the books they find!
The aim is to help children keep up with their reading over the holidays, rather than leaving it all summer before school in September.
There is a dedicated Facebook group for the event so please join the event Facebook group to keep up to date about when it starts and clues about where to find them etc.
There will also be an exciting prize up for grabs too!
Kate is also looking for more businesses to sponsor the event with a donation towards a box of 50 books. Please contact her for more info via her Facebook group.
