Fiddler on the Roof – Bristol Hippodrome
What a joy this production was! From the very first note, the cast’s voices filled the theatre with such warmth and richness – every solo and ensemble number was delivered with real power and heart.

A particular treat was being able to see the orchestra throughout, their energy and skill adding an extra dimension to the whole evening.

The fiddler’s playing was both haunting and beautiful, a thread that tied the story together with real artistry.

I had forgotten just how much humour lruns through Fiddler on the Roof, and it was a delight to rediscover – moments of sharp wit and gentle comedy that balanced the emotion perfectly.

At the centre of it all was the main man himself, bringing Tevye to life with absolute perfection. His timing, warmth, and presence were simply extraordinary – a performance that carried the entire show with grace and power.
Altogether, this was a funny, moving, and musically stunning production that left the audience uplifted and deeply moved.
Playing at the Bristol Hippodrome until Sat 30th August. Tickets from £15
