Grease is the word

Last night South Bristol Voice had the pleasure of attending “Grease” at the Bristol Hippodrome last night, and it was a truly fun filled experience.

The strength of the cast’s voices was impressive, bringing vibrant energy to every number. Our favourites were ‘Grease Lightning’ starring the male leads and ‘Beauty School Dropout’ with a great performance from ‘Teen Angel’ played by Joe Gash

The choreography, created by Carly Miles, was great and well executed, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the show.

Despite ‘Grease’ being a well-known story, this show is still a must see. From start to finish we were all impressed and caught up in Danny ( Marley Fenton) and Sandy’s (Hope Dawe) love story, enjoying the classic ‘Will they make it?’ moments.

Our favourite numbers were ‘Grease Lightning’ and ‘Beauty School Drop out’ with a great performance from Teen Angel played by Joe Gash

Greased Lightning

We particularly enjoyed the encore mega mix at the end where everyone joined in singing and dancing which created a lively atmosphere and made everyone feel involved, leaving with happy faces.

Overall, the performance of ‘Grease’ was outstanding, making this production an essential watch for musical theatre lovers!
