The Bodyguard is truly a show to be seen.
The international, award winning musical starring Melody Thornton as Rachel Marron and Auden Callaghan as Frank Farmer was awesome from the start and kicked off with a bang, a very loud one!
This recreation of the hit 90’s Whitney Houston movie, tells the thrilling story of Superstar Rachel Marron hiring former secret agent Frank Farmer to act as her bodyguard, after she receives some disturbing letters from a stalker.
Featuring classic Whitney tracks such as ‘Queen of the night’, ‘Wanna dance with somebody’, ‘I have nothing’ ‘Run to you’ and the show stopping ‘I will always love you’, the audience is enthralled from the start.
With added comedy in the developing Rachel/Farmer relationship and an adorable performance from Fletcher, Rachel’s young son, the show is a great watch
Beautiful vocal performances from both Rachel Marron, played by Melody Thornton and sister Nikki played by Emily-Mae, especially when duetting together.
Showing at the Bristol Hippodrome until 22nd July, this is one show you should not miss.
