If you’ve been up early in the last few days or just looked up your window, you may have seen a whole array of beautiful hot air balloon balloons floating over South Bristol.
Once again the international balloon fiesta is upon us where thousands of people flock to Ashton Court to enjoy everything the fiesta has to give
However, if crowds are not your thing, parts of South Bristol enjoy amazing views and there’s always a great community spirit in Perrets Park in the evenings, as witnessed when hundreds of people gathered last night to watch the mass ascent which generally never happens due to the wind
Picnics, chips, laughter and happy children were seen all over the hill while people waited in vain to see the balloons but nobody really minds that they don’t go up, everyone has a really nice evening and then wanders home after.
