Last night’s performance of The Book of Mormon at the Hippodrome was an absolute whirlwind of energy, laughter, and jaw-dropping talent. From the first note to the final curtain, the cast delivered powerhouse vocals that filled the theatre — every voice was strong, clear, and bursting with character. The choreography was equally impressive: sharp, perfectly timed, and full of joyful chaos that matched the show’s wild sense of humour.

I’ll admit, I wasn’t entirely sure I understood the story — at times it felt like anything could happen next, as if I’d wandered into some kind of mad dream. But that unpredictability was part of the fun. It’s a bold, outrageous show that keeps you constantly on your toes, laughing one minute and gasping the next.
That said, it’s probably not a musical you’d take your grandmother to — unless she’s particularly hard to offend! Still, for anyone who enjoys clever satire, stunning performances, and a night of pure, unrestrained entertainment, The Book of Mormon is an unforgettable experience.

Definitely do not miss this madness for yourself but be prepared for bad language a plenty!

The Book of Mormon is at the Bristol Hippodrome until the 8th November so hurry as tickets are sure to sell out
