Two Bristol-based builders, George Milton and Marcus Stone, from Pinpoint Projects Ltd., are set to star in the hit TV daytime series ‘Homes under the Hammer’ on BBC1 at 11.15am on the 27th February.
Pinpoint Projects are usually busy on customer work, such as extensions and refurbishments, but Marcus and George, as a father and son, decided to try their hand at their first project for themselves as well as keeping up with a full schedule of customer work.
The company is based in Headley Park, but chose a 1980’s auction property in Nailsea that had been empty for many years. The work involved a full refurbishment including a kitchen/diner knock through, rewiring, new-plumbing and all new kitchen and bathroom.
The finished property has now sold for over the estimated final valuation and the pair have been fortunate to use the funds for their next project, closer to home in Windmill Hill.
George Milton, Director, Pinpoint Projects Ltd., said; “It was great to be approached by Homes under the Hammer as I’m always looking at how other have done-up their auction properties. We were able to make a small profit, but the real satisfaction has been bringing an unused property back to life and provided a high-quality home for the new homeowners.”
