Carole Haskins, a well-known and loved animal-welfare activist, has passed away after a battle with cancer.
Her funeral has been held today at South Bristol Chapel.

Carole was widely known for helping pets and their owners reunite via local Lost and Found pages on Facebook.
She has been praised by many for her unbelievable dedication to the cause, earning respect from her community for always going above and beyond.
Her Facebook account often shared posts from families who had lost a pet, and Carole was often the first to jump to action, sharing posts and encouraging Bristol residents to keep an eye out for any missing animals, big or small.

Carole has also been remembered on social media for never judging anyone, and for “[giving] everything in her power to help, save, make life better for all animals in need.”

She will be remembered for her kindness, and for being a “strong, kind and beautiful friend.”
Her family have requested donations to Help 4 Hounds, a local not-for-profit organisation, in her memory.
