Ashton Park house team Apollo wins house cup

Ashton Park School students have excelled this year in their attitude to learning, said a school spokesperson, and as such one of the house teams, Apollo, led by Mr Poole, won the House Cup this year for its amazing conduct!

Apollo students were rewarded with an inflatable assault course which they had great fun using at the end of the summer term, and were treted to ice-cream, candy floss and popcorn!

Ashton Park School is one of the top 3% most improved schools in the country and, said the spokesperson, “this can clearly be seen in the hard work and dedication of students like these from Apollo House”.

Mr Uffendell, headteacher, said, “It is fantastic to be able to reward these students with a fun experience at the end of the year. They are truly inspirational young people!”

The students will have been awarded house points throughout the year for many different reasons such as great quality schoolwork and homework, respect, resilience and determination.
