Simply Wicked!

Having seen the show before, I knew what to expect, but tonight I truly got the story and the magic of this musical. There were outstanding performances from all cast members, but especially Elphaba, brilliantly played by Laura Pick.

The music really reached a nerve inside me -it was beautiful, yet it was surprisingly emotional.

It was such a non stop show and simply full of talented performers.

The choreography was good throughout and the costume Designers and makers need a special nod because those outfits were stunning.

The musical Wicked tells the story of the life of the Wicked Witch of the West prior to becoming, and during the early days of her tyranny with some familiar characters, that’ll you recognise from the Wizard of Oz itself.

But this story really helps give an insight into the unfairness of how blame can be apportioned through misunderstanding and lies, with your sympathies all over the place during the show, questioning what you’ve always believed about wicked witches!

Wicked is at the Bristol Hippodrome until Sunday February 25th and you truly shouldn’t miss it

Get a ticket while you can – you won’t regret it.

A definite 5 ⭐️ show
