Following the success of its community pop-up sale Dame Emily Park Project announces its plans to clear up the neighbourhood this September.
For World Cleanup Day on Saturday 16 September the group urges anyone young or old to join the big tidy-up in the park – equipment provided. The group is on-site from 9am.
The family-friendly evening gardening sessions continue on Tuesdays from 5pm to 6pmand are open and accessible to all.
The group ends its Summer activity programme with the Big Community Get Together on Sunday 24 September. Meet at the community garden from 12pm to 2pm where you can take part in skate classes, dance classes and activity workshops. There will be a bring and share picnic and everyone who uses the park regularly is welcome.
The group encourages you to come along, meet your neighbours and help work together to make the park a fun, safe place for everyone.
