Police placed St Mary Redcliffe and Temple School in lockdown this afternoon due to an incident involving a man on the edge of a balcony in the nearby flats
Noticed by a student themselves, the police were informed of the man climbing over the edge and quickly placed the school in lockdown to protect its students and staff.
The pupils were in lockdown for over half an hour to minimise any potential sightings or distress and are gradually being allowed out by police to avoid
No pupils or staff were at risk and the police remain at the scene so advise to avoid the area.
