Four South Bristol pubs have announced their closures in just one day!
The Tap and Barrel, in Dean Lane, The London Inn pub, in Cannon Street, The Albert Lounge, and The Black Cat, both in West Street are all closed.
Both The Tap and Barrel and The Albert Lounge confirmed on their Facebook pages that they would be closed from today onwards.
This was been met by an outpouring of disappointed customers wishing the best for both pubs’ staff.
The London Inn and Black Cat have also closed their doors with a notice taped to both entrances reading ‘due to unforeseen circumstances we are closed till further notice’.
It is believed that all four pubs share the same owner and there will the opportunity for a new leaseholder to continue running the pubs.
