Knowle West Media Centre are running a series of FREE events aimed at helping small creative businesses in south Bristol.
Sophie tells us that it’s for everyone south of the river. ‘Maybe you make jewellery, design websites or offer beauty treatments. You don’t need to produce an actual product to get involved. We have had artists, life coaches, crocheters, nail technicians, gardeners and everything in between. And when we say small businesses, we really mean small – it can be just you or you could employ a few people.
There are various workshops and other events, including one-to-one advice from business experts. Most of it is in person so you can also meet other creatives. It’s all VERY relaxed and we have drinks and plenty of snacks!’
You can also see the variety of equipment they have like laser cutters, 3D printers and digital embroidery.
The equipment is available for all members to use and anyone can become a member so if you don’t need the business support but want to have a look round please get in touch with them.
