The Knowle Neighbourhood Planning Group have been demonstrating the height with helium balloons and it’s certainly been an eyeopener.
Laura Chapman, from the KNPG says ‘We are pro-development but this first version of the plans is just too big. As the image shows, the 12 storey buildings will be so so much taller than the current building, and will tower over Redcatch Park, Ryde Road, Broad Walk and Redcatch Road. We all want something to be done to improve Broadwalk, but Knowle deserves better than this’
